Hello My Name Is...

Monica Goree

Principal Goree

Hello Wildcat Family! My name is Monica Goree and I am pleased to announce that I am your new principal here at Lillie E. Suder Elementary School. I am extremely honored to be able to serve the entire Suder community. I come to you with 23 years of experience, all right here in Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS). And I am proud to say that I am a graduate of North Clayton High School (right here in CCPS)! Regarding my career, I had the privilege of teaching kindergarten for five years and 1st grade for one year. I was an EIP teacher (who taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade) for four years. I was a Literacy Coach for five years and an assistant principal for seven years. I also have experience teaching at the district level, in our Professional Learning Department, where I helped create and teach the course called “Learning to Lead,” which is now in its 4th year. Therefore, keeping the aforementioned qualifications in mind, I truly believe that I can bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the nature and needs of our scholars, the faculty and staff, and the parents of Lillie E. Suder Elementary School. Please know I welcome you to join me and the rest of the Wildcat Family as we strive to create a culture of compassion and care where student achievement in a safe and secure environment is still our number one priority. And finally, let us all work together to help our students receive a high quality education where, “The Marathon Continues Towards Our High Performance!”
