Principal's Message

August 6, 2018

Dear Suder Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the new school year at Lillie E. Suder Elementary School. As principal of Suder Elementary, I am proud to be a part of this learning community. On behalf of the staff, we are committed to having this be a successful school year for your child, and look forward to a productive partnership with you. Together, we will work to assist our children, as they strive to achieve their maximum potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, children need support from both the home as well as the school. Taking that into account, we ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience.

Completes all homework assignments given by teachers.

Reads daily to develop a life-long love for reading and improve literacy skills.

Inform you if he/she needs additional support in any subject area.

Know that you expect him/her to succeed in school and behaves in a respectful manner.

We invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining the PTA or attending and supporting school events. We have a variety of activities that your child can become a part of and develop leadership from. We are excited to work with you and your student and look forward to a successful school year. On behalf of the staff, we are thankful for the opportunity to serve such a great community and appreciate the support you give us. Let’s continue to work together to make every child successful while at Suder and more importantly prepare them for success in life.

As always, we welcome your participation and support and look forward to celebrating with you the achievements of our children.
